WebStreaming and Commitment

So, it's been a while...but hey, I have a life, you know...Sue me.
Well, one of many reasons for my neglect to my non-existent readership is the temptation we like to call streaming. I have been watching so many series and movies on the web, I can't keep up with life. Okay, so that's a bit of an overstatement, but it's true, there's just so much to see and so little time...
I'm taking a different approach now. You see, at first, I watched all the movies and series on the web, no matter how bad the quality was (not screenies though, I have an inkling of pride left thank you very much). Thing is, torturing yourself like that is just wrong. The whole point is to cherish the pleasures of free entertainment, right? So you shouldn't stream all nine seasons of every series you've ever heard of, because that would be a lot like a long-distance relationship - or a relationship you're simply not ready to commit to.
No, you have to just catch a glimpse of one or two episodes, let's say the first and the seventh. See if there's chemistry, if it's going anywhere...If it isn't, just let it be. But if it is, you either get yourself what you need on the web, but in good quality OR you buy the goddamn thing and commit to it. Cause if you're ready to do that, you know it might just be the right one. And if it turns out, that it isn't a thing for life, you can end things (i.o.w., return it). Doesn't mean you can't still be friends, right?
